For the past two Mondays in class I have been making the background of the car black. The one to the left is the original picture of the car, the right picture was my edited picture. Notice any thing different? That's right! I made the background black and removed the old guy. I also changed the lights reflection, I used the clone stamp tool for that. I had to tint the windshield and also make the car a bit darker than it was because of the lights. One spot I did mess up was the numbers from the top reflecting onto the car, I took it away thinking thats what it was on the original car but it wasn't. There were a couple times that were hard for me but then . I started to get a hang on it.

This weeks project was nature, I didn't want to do my yard anymore so I went to my friends house and we went on a walk. I learned that nature is everywhere. I couldn't walk into a room without something nature in there. At first I didn't know what to shoot but than I got really creative.
Shutter1: 4.5 Aperture1: 4.0 Shutter2: 6.3 Aperture2: 5.6 Shutter3: 5.4 Aperture3: 6.0 Shutter4: 8.0 Aperture4: 8.0 Shutter: For Shutter Speed i was thinking about my old water fountain picture and thought of a bathroom sink. This bathroom sink is a little old and i thought it looked kinda cool. For each photo I used a different Shutter Speed to create different kinds of photos for the same photo. This was the same photo that was moving. Its not the same-same because all water is different. I had tried different angles but they didn't look as good so I went with these.
Aperture: These photos I took after school when no one was her,I tried to get light and depth by changing the different Av and some worked and some didn't Aperture is light and depth of field so I lined up all the mouses and computers in a straight row to get depth. Also above me were lights that were helpful. The buttons created a really cool perpesective we wouldn't really normally see. 1) A fast Shutter speed can be used to keep a runner in one spot instead of a motion blur while he is running. 2)Slow Shutter speed makes the image more blurry if its moving and makes the runner have a blur behind him.(Like a ghost) 3)It allows more light to upon on the image.(Letting more light into the lenses) 4)Lets less light into the image.(Closes it faster) This is my 101 picture. This is my Tia's house number and I was walking around for still life. The numbers that were used in this photo was: F/ 3.5 . 1/60 ISO/500 I took the photo at an angle but turns out I didn't like it so I cropped it in photo shop and cut some out to make the top straight. I wasn't that close to the numbers but I zoomed in anyways, I did mess around with all of the Apertures and Tv but I found the one I like the most. All of these smaller photos are my other 9 for Still Life. All of these images I took and at the right time so they look almost still. The 6th picture I stood on top of my Tia's old shed in her backyard.
In class today we learned a little bit of photo shop and we started our Pop Art project, which is when you take four of the same photo and color them four different colors.
In this assignment we had to take photos in different ways and use all of the new things we learned into a gallery of our photos. Balance: The river front of Pennsylvania.
Color: Picture of a painting. Rule of Thirds: The fire alarm in the top left corner. Patterns: The school rug where the carpets come together. Lines: Blinds in a school meeting room. Perspective: A stop sign from low standing position. Space: A light switch with a blank wall behind it. Framing: A fence with some chickens behind it. Depth of Field: Two dogs in different spots. Texture: A light covering in school hallway. Symmetry: In a school gym with a friends glasses on the floor. What I learned: I learned so many knew things I never knew what rule of thirds was or space. I learned so many knew ways to take photos like the shutter speed and using the flash in different ways. I also learned that if we don't lean against a wall or something our hands wont be steady to take the photo because we are always moving nonstop. Hey i'm Cady, welcome to my Photography blog!
